Instructions for use
As Glue
Apply PPE and mask areas of part where cement should not make contact.
Apply cement to desired areas in small amounts via syringe, or place onto a disposable mixing surface and brush on with customer provided tools (cement can be rinsed off of tools quickly before it hardens to clean them).
Allow cement to dry for at least 12 hours before heating (time will vary based on CO2 exposure and temperature of cement, enclosed areas will take longer to cure).
Heat cement up to between 50 and 80C and maintain that temperature for 1 hour
Gradually heat cement up to the expected operating temperature to finish curing and verify results.
As Casting Cement
Apply PPE, clear workspace
Prepare mold (preferably silicone) with release agents and cleaning.
Slowly Inject cement into the mold and shake/tap to prevent bubbles from being trapped
If possible, seal mold in a container with a source of CO2. Placing a small amount of vinegar in a cup, then adding a little baking soda before sealing the container works well as an at home option.
Wait at least 24 hours. If cement is not fully cured, more CO2/air exposure time is needed.
Warnings
May cause irritation to skin and eyes. If cement is exposed to skin, wash thoroughly with warm water and soap as soon as possible. If cement is exposed to eyes, rinse eyes with cool water thoroughly for several minutes and seek medical advice. If cement is ingested, do not induce vomiting and contact Poison Control immediately.
Cement is not compatible with alcohols of any kind when un-cured. Contact with alcohols will cause spontaneous curing and clumping that is irreversible.
