Quantum V2 is an affordable CNC machine designed for hobbyists, small businesses, and educational teams. This machine is especially designed for FRC teams as a lower cost option of gaining CNC capabilities, enabling more even competition between teams and raising the floor of competition for the teams with less financial and hardware resources. Quantum V2 can quickly cut any plastic or wood, and is able to machine aluminum and other metals at varying speeds depending on spindle option.

Due to UPS shipping weight constraints, large machines will be shipped in two separate boxes so orders will receive two tracking numbers.

Machine orders will ship on a first-come first-served basis, as all machines are custom built upon order. Machines will begin shipping upon release with a ~1 month lead time, which will vary as supply chains and manufacturing processes are improved.

Note, this kit requires a control system and spindle which can be self-sourced or purchased separately.

Quantum 2 is available in a 400x400mm and 800x800mm cutting area version, and components can be self-sourced for teams to save some money at the cost of additional time & effort.

Quantum is designed to be used with 3 different options of spindle.

The 500W spindle is a more cost effective option that can easily cut plastic & wood, and is able to cut soft metals such as aluminum with conservative feedrates.

The 1.5Kw spindle is a higher powered option able to cut more quickly and with a more consistent surface finish, while also still running on 110V.

Finally, the 2.2Kw spindle is the most powerful option intended for this machine, and can quickly cut through soft metals. This option can run on 110V, however a dedicated 20A+ circuit is required to safely run on 110V.
