Warnings and Safety Instructions
HT250 is a skin irritant, causes extreme eye irritation, and can be extremely harmful or lethal if swallowed.
Wear proper PPE at all times when handling HT250 (as you should with any resin material). HT250 poses risks for both chemical and thermal burns if it contacts human skin. It is essential to wear properly fitting gloves (to avoid tearing while handling), long sleeves to cover arms, eye protection, and a mask to avoid accidental exposure.
If you come into skin contact with HT250, avoid UV exposure and immediately rinse affected area thoroughly with warm water and soap. Contact your poison control center immediately if resin is ingested.
Instructions for Use
Resin may crystallize during transportation and storage. This is normal, and can be reversed via gently heating the resin in the bottle (or inside of any storage container) to 60C for about 1 hour. If you do not have access to controlled heating equipment, you can leave the bottle in a warm sunny place and shake it occasionally to achieve a similar result.
We recommend starting with the following settings and adjusting as needed.
MSLA
Layer Height:0.05mm
Bottom Layer Cure Time: 30s
Bottom Layer Retraction speed: 1-2mm/s
Cure Time: 3s
Retraction Speed: 6mm/s
Retraction Distance: 6mm+
DLP
Layer Height: 0.05 mm
Bottom Layer Cure Time: 20s
Bottom Layer Retraction speed: 1-2mm/s
Cure Time: 2s
Retraction Speed: 6mm/s
Retraction Distance: 6mm+
After Printing is complete, thoroughly wash parts in an IPA cleaning solution before post-curing. We recommend a 2-bath system (one “dirty” alcohol wash to remove the majority of uncured resin and one “clean” wash to fully clean the surface without contaminating the solution as rapidly).
To fully strengthen parts, we recommend UV curing while heating the parts to 60-80C. If you are unable to heat parts while curing, similar results can be achieved by heating the parts after UV curing and holding at 80C for 1 hour. We recommend a curing time of at least 15 minutes with exposure to all surfaces, and add 2 minutes per mm of part thickness past 8mm.
